Motivate the clock
I have several notes his morning as I stare, bleary-eyed at my computer screen. But hey, it's Friday, which means that the day will get progressively better as the hours roll off the clock. In the meantime, let me project a number of announcements and notes out onto the Internet, in no particular order.

First Responders on the scene?
As my literally dozens of readers already know, I have a sourcebook for Palladium's Chaos Earth RPG somewhere among the stacks in their office, ready for editing. The book, called First Responders, details the plight of the common man during the great apocalypse that eventually results in the game world of Rifts, as well as police, fire, and other emergency responders during the catastrophe.
It seems that, after sitting idle for a while, this book may be ready to see the light of day. Apparently the publisher, Kevin Siembieda, mentioned it in the Gateway to the Megaverse podcast, though I haven't actually heard it yet. If true, that's exciting news! When you work hard on a book you want it to get printed and out for the masses to enjoy.
Best rogue, ever
That Jason Marker guy keeps showing up on this blog. He continues his fine work for the guys at Fantasy Flight Games, this time contributing to the latest Rogue Trader sourcebook, Edge of the Abyss. It has adventure and NPCs and a star that makes you go crazy. Sign me up.
Complete Characters announcements
First, just FYI, a couple of days ago I made a couple of minor tweaks to my free Complete Characters downloads that are up on DriveThru. It's not anything you really need to worry about, but I thought I'd like you know. It turns out that I had a couple of typos (oops) that I missed, but that I also had failed to properly compress some of the files. So, if you wanted a slightly smaller file or a (hopefully) corrected version, they're still available for free.
Also, Complete Characters #5 should be up this morning, but it didn't quite get ironed out last night. I was working into the very early AM, and it's nearly finished, but I felt the quality was slipping and I was afraid that I'd miss something in my the-caffeine-isn't-helping-anymore state. So, it will be up tonight, which is still Friday, as promised. In the meantime, be sure to check out the other four installments, and for heaven's sake, let me know what you think!
Rewards for socializing
Do you like free stuff? Me, too. I also loving giving stuff away, and will be doing so next week. You see, next week the first of the new Complete Characters will be available for purchase, not just as a freebie. Prices are low, low, low, and the quality is top-notch. To show appreciation to the fans who have been so supportive, I'm going to be giving away complimentary copies of the latest Complete Character to one fan on Twitter, and one fan on Facebook, but you have to follow me on those particular networks to learn how to win your prize. So, be sure to follow me on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook so you can get the scoop.
A humble request
I hope you're enjoying the content that I'm working hard to produce. If so, I just ask that you tell a friend! Sample a free Complete Character. Tweet or share a link to this blog or my DriveThru page on your favorite social media site. Take 30 seconds and click the reddit or stumble icons in the upper-right of the screen. It really helps.
Everyone have a happy Friday!
