Complete Characters #17: Tarash Cyn, Space Station Operator

Seems like it's been a lot of news and current events on the blog, lately, so it's nice to sit down and work on something that we can all use at the table. We are continuing some recent trends, however, as this character is only thinly veiled against its intended setting, Star Wars. My first one-shot game leading up to my Star Wars D6 campaign starts in a couple of weeks, and if you're one of my players, you can expect to see Tarash Cyn show up at some point.

Read on to learn more about this character, and the space station that he operates for the star system's independent operators.

Tarash Cyn grew up knowing exactly what he didn't want to be. This path led him to a nice little nest egg and a couple of decades of spacing experience. Throw those things together with some mechanical know-how and a mind for business, and he took up operating his own small space station. This has won him some allies in the shady underworld of commerce, but put his interests at odds with authorities as well.

This character would fit great into any sort of sci-fi campaign. With some modification, this Complete Character can be used as a shopkeeper on a secluded island for a fantasy game, or a black market for a modern game. Any good character concept should transcend, right?

So, have a look and let me know what you think. The free PDF download is available at the link below, or with the rest in the Downloads section on the right side of the screen. (UPDATE: This character has been temporarily pulled, but will soon return as a download from DriveThruRPG. In the meantime, check out all the latest offerings.)

This fellow is useful (with tweaking, of course!) for Star Wars, Phase World, and Traveller. Thanks, Jason!

Very handy! I may yoink this fellow for my next Starblazer Adventures game. I've actually been looking for a good space station operator.
