Ladies and gents, I'd like to take this Sunday evening to refer you to a dose of greatness that I didn't get a chance to blog about last week. Stop whatever you're doing, right now, and go read The Uniques Tales #1. This is a backstory to the world of The Uniques as established by Comfort Love and Adam Withers, written and drawn by talented guests. It oozes awesome. There will be another issue each month, each taking place in different decade until we get up to the comic's present day. I penned the story for the 1960s issue, entitled Around the World, which we'll see in July.
I'm not done, and share with you even more awesomeness below the fold, so keep reading.
Once you've read it, I'm sure you'll want to know more. You can also download the first issue of The Uniques for free on their site, plus get additional digital issues for an unreasonably low price, delightful printed issues (which is what I recommend), and trade paperbacks. You can also check out their blog and see all of the stuff they do for conventions, buy prints, and anything your art-heart may desire. Comfort and Adam are a tandem force in the indie comic world and are so talented that you might want to revise the wikipedia entry of "talented" to include them. Just sayin.
